Electrolyzed sodium hypochlorite "Disinfection 2.0" is a mildly alkaline product primarily composed of hypochlorite ions (OCl-) generated by the electrolysis of a sodium chloride aqueous solution in a membrane-less electrolytic cell. It is considered equivalent to a diluted solution of hypochlorous acid (HClO). It has the property of returning to pure water over time through organic matter, and it can be stored for approximately 12 months.
